Inevitably, when I get a strand of beads, there are some that don't have a lot of that characteristic flash we love in a piece of Labradorite. Or maybe the flash is around the drill hole so you can't see it, for example. Earwires will always be Sterling, but other beads may be Sterling-plated, instead of solid Sterling. Or maybe they have fire-polished faceted glass instead of Swarovski Crystal.
